BARRE CLASSES - FARNHAM

This unique workout combines the elements of Pilates, yoga, resistance training and ballet into a highly effective workout performed on the mat and at a ballet barre. The effect is a long, lean dancers body without being a dancer!

The low impact, total body workout lifts the butt, tones the thighs, flattens the abs and sculpts the arms, whilst protecting the joints. The result is a body that is realigned, rebalanced and works harmoniously and efficiently.

Stretches are performed after each strength section of the class to ensure the muscles are re-lengthened to create a body that is strong without the added bulk of other regimes. This workout is suitable for everybody as various modifications are given throughout the class to suit the abilities of all students.

It is an up-beat class with a focus on physical results and pure enjoyment. See you at the Barre!

"Great venue. The studio offers a range of classes including core, pilates, yoga and stretch throughout the day and into the evening Monday to Friday. A great advantage is that it is drop in so no need to pay for classes you can't make but a discount if you buy blocks of 10 or 20 up front. I've been doing pilates with Yvette on a Thursday for over a year. She makes it good fun, with a lot of variety and explains how each exercise is working the body. Definitely recommend it!"
